Welcome to the City of Cumberland!

The City of Cumberland is a growing city that centers around the intersection of US Hwy 63 and Hwy 48. We are roughly 80 miles north-east of Minneapolis/St Paul, 80 miles south of Duluth/Superior and 80 miles north-west of Eau Claire.  We have beautiful lakes, an excellent school district, growing industry, and accredited hospital and extended care unit, beautiful main street shops, a growing airport and many, many things to do and see.    We are far enough away from the big city to enjoy the beautiful nature around us, but close enough to be able to visit for a day.  Whether you are interested in moving here or expanding your business here, we are always ready to help.

Remember to keep your grass mowed!  The City has a weed ordinance and you will get a letter if your grass gets too high.  If you don't take care of it, we will have it done for you at your cost.

Don't forget to license your dog!

Yard Waste

The City's Brush Dump is now open for residence to dispose of their yard waste. Only brush and leaves are accepted at the site and all leaves must be removed from any plastic bags and empty plastic bags should be placed with your household garbage.

Importation of Firewood

The City of Cumberland has banned the importation of out of county firewood to its parks. Firewood for campfires can be purchased from the campground caretaker or local firewood outlet (you must have a receipt).
